In The Ruins Project, 254 Platinum has been used for the Train, E pluribus unum, Anonymous Miner, Woodpecker and England, East Meets West.
Premium one-step, polymer fortified, thin-set mortar that provides unsurpassed strength and versatility. Ideal for interior, exterior thin porcelain tile panels, stone, quarry tile, pavers and brick. It can be used in submerged applications on virtually all substrates and applications.
In The Ruins Project, 257 Titanium mortar was used in The Great Train, the largest mosaic so far (67' long by 7' high). It was installed "in situ" (one single piece of glass at a time).
An ultimate lightweight, one-step, polymer fortified, thin-set mortar that is ideal for the installation of Gauged Porcelain Tile Panels/Slabs (GPTP) as well as for interior and exterior installation of ceramic tile, porcelain tile, stone, quarry tile, pavers and brick.
